Printing useful stuff

3D printing is growing up. The technology is morphing from a idea into a useful tool. A number of universities and aspiring companies are developing amazing spinoffs that can actually produce useful stuff.

The Design Computation Lab at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL has printed this cool chair using a robot arm to extrude the material.
